Our third day saw us getting up to catch a 6:30 AM train from Bologna to Rome. Although it was a very long day it is one which we were very happy that Renzo and Daniela suggested that we all do. So much to see, so little time. We did see the ruins and then later the Vatican. A highlight was walking past the tomb of Pope John Paul II.
